Public Notice regarding Lincoln Affordable Housing
The Town of Lincoln is seeking rental applications for three (3) affordable housing units expected to be available between April and July, 2007.  These units are located in North Lincoln off Route 2A and close to the Minuteman National Park.  They are NOT near stores or accessible by public transportation.  

THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 7, 2007.
APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE LINCOLN TOWN OFFICES, LINCOLN LIBRARY, OR BY CALLING THE HOUSING COMMISSION AT 781-259-2613.

Available in the early Spring:
1.      A two-story three bedroom house for an income eligible family of four to six individuals.
2.      A two bedroom unit for an income eligible tenant with mobility impairment.

Available in early summer:
3.      A one-bedroom apartment.

A qualified tenant will be chosen by lottery at the Lincoln Town Offices on dates to be announced.  There will be an OPEN HOUSE prior to the lotteries.

A qualified tenant means a moderate income household (up to 80% of the area median income, by family size) as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

INCOME LIMITS AS OF 3/8/2006:                   
        Single Person Household         $46,300         
        Two Person Household            $52,950         
        Three Person Household          $59,550         
        Four Person Household           $66,150         
        Five Person Household           $71,450         
        Six Person Household            $76,750         

Local Preferences will be given to: Town employees, parents or children of Lincoln residents; families of Lincoln METCO students (K-12); Hanscom Active Duty personnel; other Lincoln connections.
