TOWN FLAG COMMITTEE SOLICITS INPUT
The Town Flag Committee is appreciative of the input received to date from residents, and it continues to welcome more ideas. The Committee has been diligently working to develop several alternative flag designs to present to the town for its review, with the object of developing a flag that would be representative of the town as a whole. The deadline for the suggestion of ideas and concepts is January 15th. Please contact any of the members or write to the Lincoln Cultural Council at Box 426, Lincoln.
We would also like to announce our newest member, Thomas Wang, and to thank all those who applied for the at large position. Tom is a renowned graphic artist and a most welcome addition to our committee. Other members of the committee include Jack MacLean, Susan Salm, Dilla Tingley, Rob Todd and Rick Wiggin.
In February the committee plans to hold public meetings to review the flag designs and to obtain public comment. We will also post the designs on the town web site. The goal is to present a final flag design at Town Meeting.
