BOARD OF ASSESSORS
February 26, 2004


CALL TO ORDER:   The meeting was called to order at  3:30PM

ROLL CALL:              Members present were Ellen Meadors, Edward Morgan, Paul Marsh and John Robinson

OTHERS PRESENT:         Julie Miller, Principal Assessor

MINUTES:         Minutes for February 12, 2004 were read and accepted as written.  

SIGNATURES:  MVE warrants were signed for 2003 and 2004.

CORRESPONDENCE: Notice from the Selectman’s office of the annual Budget Hearing on March 11 and the Moderator’s meeting on March 24 were read.   
                                        
OLD BUSINESS:  

6.1)     Several FY04 applications for abatements were discussed and voted on.  Board members discussed overlay expenditures for FY2004 and CPA abatements.
6.2)    Ellen Meadors reviewed progress done on data cleaning for the modeling effort.  She noted that several sales could be “recovered” and would provide a list to Ms Miller for review.  Mr. Marsh requested a sales map sorted by natural breaks rather than quartiles.

NEW BUSINESS:

7.1)    No new business was taken up.

ADJOURNMENT:

The meeting adjourned at 4:45PM.
