CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 3:30PM
ROLL CALL: Members present were Ellen Meadors and Edward Morgan
OTHERS PRESENT: Julie Miller, Principal Assessor
MINUTES: Minutes for May 20, 2004 were read and accepted as written.
SIGNATURES: A schedule of bills and monthly lists were signed.
CORRESPONDENCE: No correspondence.
OLD BUSINESS:
6.1) The mapping issue on 156 Trapelo Road was discussed in light of further deed research. The research indicates several narrow lots between 156 Trapelo Road and 146 Trapelo Road created around 1933 that have not been assessed to anyone. More deeds need to be obtained to identify ownership of these lots. The Board recommended that the material be forwarded to an attorney to determine ownership if it cannot be clarified with additional deed references.
6.2) The 2003 sales were discussed in relation to the FY05 values. More analysis needs to be done to determine adjustments for FY05.
NEW BUSINESS:
7.1) Income values were done on all cell towers and compared to cost values. Excess land values on several properties were discussed. The Board recommended that 38D requests for lease information be sent to all permitted towers in order to obtain more complete lease information.
