CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 3:30PM
ROLL CALL: Members present were Ellen Meadors, Edward Morgan and John Robinson
OTHERS PRESENT: Julie Miller, Principal Assessor
MINUTES: No Minutes.
SIGNATURES: A schedule of bills and motor vehicle warrants were signed.
CORRESPONDENCE:
Selectmen have scheduled the Classification Hearing for September 7, 2004.
OLD BUSINESS:
6.1) Proposed FY 05 adjustments were reviewed and discussed. Adjusted Commercial values were reviewed.
6.2) Exempt status of the formerly taxable property at 40 Baker Bridge was discussed. The eight -acre property was subdivided to two parcels. Both parcel were determined to be exempt beginning in fiscal year 2005.
6.3) The property at 39 Cambridge Turnpike was discussed for final disposition.
NEW BUSINESS:
7.1) Mr. Morgan suggested an analysis of the tax rate focusing on a split rate of 10 or 15%. After some discussion, members agreed to look at the analysis at the next meeting in preparation for the classification hearing on September 7.
