BOARD OF ASSESSORS
October 7, 2004


CALL TO ORDER:   The meeting was called to order at  3:30PM

ROLL CALL:              Members present were Ellen Meadors, Edward Morgan and John Robinson

OTHERS PRESENT:         Julie Miller, Principal Assessor

MINUTES:         Minutes for September 2, 2004 were read and accepted as written.  

SIGNATURES:  The fiscal year 2005 real estate warrants were signed.

CORRESPONDENCE:  

5.1) An email from Andrew Pang at 4 Brooks Hill to Ellen Meadors requested that he be notified if any abutters notices were sent from any house in the Brooks Hill subdivision.

5.2)  Barbara Hanania of 297 South Great Road emailed Julie Miller requesting an explanation of the assessed proportional change between her property and that of  a neighbor.     
                                        
OLD BUSINESS:  

6.1)    FY 06 Capital Plan was discussed.  A new printed for the Board of Assessors is scheduled for FY05 and a networked printer for FY06 according to Chuck Miller, IT Director.   

NEW BUSINESS:

7.1)    The FY06 New Growth estimate submitted to the Finance Committee was reviewed.  Mrs. Miller will submit a revised estimate in January 2005.

7.2)    Distribution of the LLCT GIS data to not-for-profits was discussed.  LLCT agreed to create a sub-license to be signed by the not-for-profit and LLCT.  The BOA would track distribution.

7.3)    FY05 real estate exemptions and chapter land applications were discussed and acted upon.

The meeting adjourned at 5:10 PM.
