BOARD OF ASSESSORS
November 4, 2004
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 3:30PM
ROLL CALL: Members present were Ellen Meadors, Edward Morgan and John Robinson
OTHERS PRESENT: Julie Miller, Principal Assessor
MINUTES: Minutes for October 7, 2004 were read and accepted as written.
SIGNATURES: The monthly lists and schedule of bills were signed.
CORRESPONDENCE:
5.1) No correspondence.
OLD BUSINESS:
6.1) The Board discussed several issues involving the creation of abutters lists. Currently, all boards and the public prepare their own abutters lists. Ellen Meadors explained how the GIS application can be adapted to create lists. She described some technical details of the GIS system and updated the Board about an application development. Distribution and mailing label provisions were also discussed.
NEW BUSINESS:
7.1) The FY06 Budget guideline was discussed. The Board agreed to review the budget at their next meeting.
7.2) The board reviewed the FY05 abatement applications. Applications were examined for general issues raised. The Board agreed to take them up at the next meeting
7.3) FY05 real estate exemption applications were discussed and acted upon.

The meeting adjourned at 4:40 PM.
