BOARD OF ASSESSORS
April 7, 2005
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 3:30PM
ROLL CALL: Members present were Ellen Meadors and Edward Morgan
OTHERS PRESENT: Julie Miller, Principal Assessor
MINUTES: Minutes for March 3, 2005 were read and accepted as written.
SIGNATURES: A schedule of bills, MVE warrants and Monthly Lists were signed.
CORRESPONDENCE:
5.1) A notice of new Telephone & Telegraph Forms of List from the DOR was distributed. A discussion of centrally assed personal property followed. Currently, the Department of Revenue is assessing the the phone companies operating in Lincoln.
OLD BUSINESS:
6.1) Cell tower valuation was discussed. A tower at the Police and Fire and another at the DPW building and one at DeCordava will be fully assessed this year.
6.2) No information needed to do an income value for 55 Old Bedford Road was received again this year. Mr. Miller reported a call from the management company asking that the tax bill be sent to another address.
6.3) The Planning Board Tracking file items were discussed in terms of current building permits. No permit for Minuteman Commons was issued as of April 1. The tracking file will aid in anticipating future new growth.
NEW BUSINESS:
7.1) The GIS mapping for FY06 is on schedule. The new maps will be complete in a week.
7.2) The new subdivision at the end of Huntley Lane was discussed. A numbering plan was approved by Lincoln Police.
7.3) Mr. Morgan reported that the assessors/ tax relief committees warrant article was approved at Town Meeting.
