BOARD OF ASSESSORS MINUTES
MARCH 17, 2006
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 8:05am.
ROLL CALL:
Members present were John Robinson, Edward Morgan and Ellen Meadors. Others present were Harald Scheid and Kathy Socia.
MINUTES:
Minutes for the March 3, 2006 regular meeting were read and approved.
CORRESPONDENCE:
The Board received no new correspondence.
BUSINESS:
The Board signed payroll, schedule of bills and property deferrals.
There was discussion about an ATB case for 15 Fox Run. Harald will contact the owner and go out to do an inspection.
Bruce and Harald both went out to inspect 50 Page Rd. They let the owner know that there would be an adjustment for 2007.
Bruce is continuing with his sales verification visits. He also created a new Sales Verification Form.
There was some discussion on land tables.
There was discussion on conservation properties and how some have been made into separate lots and maybe should change back to being 1 parcel. Ellen is looking into this.
Kathy Socia will be leaving on 3/22/06. Bruce will be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Harald has someone who works for him that will be in on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. She will be coming in on 3/21 so that Kathy can show her where things are kept. The ad for the position will be going into the paper for the weekend of 3/19. Harald will also put it in the MAAO newsletter.
