Assessor’s Minutes - April 17, 2009
CALL TO ORDER: 8:08 A.M in the Donaldson Room, 1st floor

AND SIGNED: Meeting Minutes of April 3, 2009 – Unanimous
BUSINESS: The board and staff members reviewed the letter from an attorney at The McCormack Firm who is representing Mr. Jay Hersh. Since the main content of the letter concerns ADA regulations, Anita and the Board decided that the response should come from the Town Administrator. The board also decided to investigate the possibility of making the Property Record Cards available on the Town website.
The board and staff members reviewed a letter from the District Attorney’s Office to Jay Hersh in response to his complaint filed on February 4, 2009 with their office. His complaint was that the Board violated open meeting laws, including reporting in our previous minutes that we were in executive session to discuss abatement applications. The District Attorneys Office replied that they were satisfied with the amendment the board made to the minutes and also that the board changed their meeting place from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor.
Harald and Bruce went over some analysis of the data, with the board, for fiscal year 2010. Harald also gave the board an update on his meeting with the Department of Revenue representative.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:50am.
