The minutes from the May 2, 2007 meeting were approved as written. The next meeting is scheduled for July 11.
Public Hearings:
Summer Camp:
Drumlin Farm – request for a variance was cancelled by applicant.
Septic System Review:
39 North Great Road – National Park Service request for hearing was postponed until July 11, 2007.
Summer Camp Review:
Farrington Memorial – Diane Haessler said that this site has been running as an environmental center for a limit of 30 inner city kids with their own counselors. These camps are licensed in their own towns with the proper with CORI and SORI checks being done. According to Stan Sosnicki, the site was formerly classified under a municipal site, which it is not. After a brief discussion, at which time Diane Haessler recused herself from the vote, a motion was made that the site at Farrington Memorial does not qualify as a camp site but as an environmental center, therefore, no camp license or site assignment was needed this year. The motion passed 2-0, with the stipulations that a lab analysis of the water supply be done, and inspections from the Building Inspector and Fire Department. Stan
Sosnicki will send a letter to Farrington Memorial outlining what they would need to do with recommendations to give them more time to prepare for next year.
Other Business:
Lyme Disease – Dr. Weinberg will draft an article for the Lincoln Journal regarding Lyme disease in a question and answer form.
Minuteman Commons, 82 Virginia Road – Stan said that the Mayo Group has hired a trouble shooter to go in and see what needs to be done to the septic system so that they can correct the problems. They will camera the trenches to make sure that none are broken.
State Reports – The members reviewed the reportable disease reports for this month.
Bill Paid – One bill was paid this month: Town of Lexington for the April, 2007 Hazardous Waste collection day in the amount of $2,032.83. Elaine noted that this amount was high because of a large amount of hazardous waste left at the site over the winter, which needed to be removed and the cost of removal was evenly distributed among the 8 participating communities.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Elaine M. Carroll
