September 28, 2004

Present:~ Mary Cancian, Rayna Caplan, Susie Collins, Elizabeth Frumpkin, Ken Hurd, John Koenig

Caplan was appointed secretary for the meeting

Sara Silverstein, Conservation Commission; Dwight Gertz, Lincoln Land Trust and Geoff McGeon, Rural Land Foundation presented to the Committee "Quiet Places" consisting of 65 acres of the Harrington property and 16 acres of the Row property. $2.8 million must be raised from private funding and working with the City of Cambridge as its important watershed land.~ They are looking for $450,000; 60% going to conservation with the families keeping six buildable lots.~ There are three hundred parcels of land under conservation or conservation restriction in Lincoln.

There are two vacancies on the Committee, Caplan to contact Mary Van Vleck and Frumpkin to contact Keith and Maria Hylton.

Re: Project Submission and Project Completion forms; significant changes were made.

Discussion followed on the invitations to Town Committee/Organization; Library,
Historic and Capital Planning will be scheduled in October.

Meeting adjourned at 9:15pm
