Present: Rayna Caplan, Susie Collins, Craig Donaldson, John Koenig, Colin Smith, Peter von Mertens, and Bryce Wolf
Absent: John Valpey
Peter von Mertens raised the possibility of a request for $250,000 funding from the Town’s Affordable Housing Trust to be used for options to purchase properties.  
The Committee addressed the funding requests received to date and its tentative decisions, pending developments between this meeting and town meeting:

2008-6  Cemetery Commission     $6,000  The committee wants more information on what the policy is for this kind of work.  The committee will suggest to the Cemetery Commission that it discuss this with the Historical Commission.  The committee would also like to see matching funds of 50% from other sources.

The total to be funded, based on this tentative determination, would be $607,574
The Committee discussed the status of pending projects:
Susie Collin reported that the Tot Lot at Codman Pool has been completed.  Kudos to the Recreation Committee for completing this project.  
Colin Smith reported that Jack MacLean is moving, though very slowly, on the historic property inventory.  
The committee approved the minutes from its November 20, 2006 meeting.  
Craig Donaldson reported on the proceedings of the town’s Long Range Planning Committee.
