Absent: Rayna Caplan, Susie Collins, Craig Donaldson, Peter von Mertens
The Committee discussed whether to propose that the $25,000 funding previously recommended for conservation property maintenance, but determined not to be CPA eligible, be recommended for the Booth property purchase or for other funding requests. The Committee voted unanimously not to recommend that amount for funding.
The Committee discussed the question of joining the Community Preservation Coalition, now that that advocacy group’s initial funding has been exhausted, and it is moving to a membership funded organization. The Committee agreed that it would like to meet with the Executive Director of the Coalition, to find out more about it, and also to find out from Tim Higgins what his opinion is, and what it costs for the town to belong to other advocacy groups.
The committee approved the minutes from its February 27, 2007 meeting.
