The purpose of the meeting was to discuss procedures for putting out an RFP for investment proposals to manage Lincoln's trust funds, currently about $1.2 million.~ The tentative timeline calls for the request to be issued on June 21 with proposals due by August 22.~ Bids will be opened on August 23.~ Interviews with those companies making proposals will be between September 12 - 30.~ The commission will select a winner about~November 1 and award the contract by November 8.~ The new contract will begin on Jan 1, 2006.

The RFP will be worked on by the committee and drafts will be reviewed by email.~ Advertisements soliciting investment managers~will be placed in trade journals.

The next meeting is scheduled for June 14 at 5 pm.
