COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Mary Lincoln, Sara Silverstein, Jim Meadors, Peter Von Mertens, Jim Henderson, David Katsuki, and Toby Feibelman. STAFF: Tom Gumbart, Angela Kearney.
The Commission met to review the current wetland regulations. Mary Lincoln presented suggestions for changes to the regulations, specifically section 7.8 Permanent Structures in Upland Buffer Zone Resource Areas. Ms. Lincoln also provided examples of sections from other town regulations that could be implemented by Lincoln. The Commission briefly discussed the incredible amounts of feedback received since the new dog regulations were presented. Mary Lincoln is prepared to address and divert the issue if it comes up at Town Meeting, but the Commission might want to hold another public meeting to discuss the regulations further and try to gain support from the dog-walking community.
