Minutes of the June 8, 2004 meeting and the June 28, 2004 business meeting were approved with corrections, which will be made.

8 Sandy Pond Road (informal meeting):
Marcus and Judy Gleysteen came before the members for an informal meeting to discuss their proposed purchase of 8 Sandy Pond Road and how best to add on to the back of the existing house.  The members looked over the preliminary plan and photographs of existing conditions and gave the Gleysteens some suggestions.  Mr. Gleysteen felt that an additional preliminary meeting would be helpful before the public hearing to help him in this undertaking.  He will need to go before the Planning Board, Conservation Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals also.

Other Business:
DPW Cell Tower  The members drafted a letter to the attorney for Verizon, which was in response to a letter from Mass. Historical Commission.  The letter said that the HDC believes that the proposed cell tower will have minimal visual impact on the Grange Complex  Codman Estate.  The letter was unanimously approved.
Flint Homestead  The members continued the discussion of the Flint Homestead on Lexington Road.  They discussed the latest draft of the Preservation Restriction Agreement.  Mary Spindler will talk with David Ries to go over some of the wording.  The members unanimously approved the Preservation Restriction Agreement with possible amendments.  The final draft will be sent to the members for their final approval of any amendments.
Historic District Additions  Jack MacLean presented the members with a list of properties to do the survey work necessary for recommendation that these properties be eligible for the National Register, either individually or as part of a district.  The members unanimously approved having Jack MacLean begin this project.

Respectfully submitted,
