Minutes: April 8 and 22, 2003 approved as corrected
Bills: Approved payment of $95.00 to Central Air Systems and $300.00 to American Landscape for 65 Tower Road. Updates:
· Meadowbrook Project (Route 117 gas station) the Selectmen sent to Mass Housing their concerns regarding size and density and that its a hazardous waste site. Also questioned the economic viability of the project and a misuse of 40B; the neighborhood group has also raised questions.
· Sunnyside moving along slowly, DCAM to schedule a Public Hearing on the disposal of 30 Sunnyside. Possible land swap, discussion with Sarah Young, DHCD on the Sunnyside lots and Walden. Caplan updated on Sunnyside and the two houses which might be moved. The Downing property in Minuteman Park would cost about $35,000-$40,000 to move according to Northeast Building Movers. Caplan to speak to T. Higgins to move along the Huntley Lane property.
· Mall area development: P. Billings in discussion with RLF.
· Application for recertification under Executive Order 418 is competed and submitted.
· Scheff to follow up on S. Creighton's tenants as an affordable apartment.
· Scheff to write letter to P. Goodman of Battle Road Farm and to K. McCue of Lincoln Foundation. Taylor suggested McCue attend a Housing meeting.
· Scheff stated that the Commission needs administrative support. She has discussed this with Tim Higgins and hopes Elaine Carroll will be assigned to screen phone calls and handle routine correspondence. Commission members’ phone numbers should not be routinely given out.
