Housing Commission Minutes
April 26, 2005
Present: Rayna Caplan, George Georges, Avram Kalisky, BJ Scheff, and Bryce Wolf.
Minutes: The minutes of March 22 were approved.
Bills: A $26 payment was approved for minor repairs at 30 Sunnyside.
CHAPA: Scheff reported on two upcoming CHAPA presentations. Kalisky may attend one of them. The other did not seem relevant to Lincoln.
Reappointments: Georges and Wolf are up for reappointment this year and are to be considered at the Selectmen’s meeting on May 2.
Lincoln Foundation: The Lincoln Foundation is in the process of fundraising for the completion of the Sunnyside residences. It is hoped that a total of $120,000 can be raised. If any surplus CPA funds result, they will be used toward property buy-downs as appropriate.
Sunnyside construction: The building committee will meet later this morning with the architects to review plans and to go over the upcoming hearing schedule. A neighborhood meeting to informally present the plans is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, May 3. A notice will appear in the Lincoln Journal, and a mailing will be made to neighborhood residences. Mark Whitehead has arranged for hearings with the Planning Board and Conservation Commission on May 18, and with the ZBA on May 19. He is handling the official notices and other requirements. (The ZBA hearing will conflict with the Selectmen’s post-Town Meeting debriefing session that evening, but it can’t be helped.)

The next meetings are scheduled for May 10 and 24.
