Lincoln Housing Commission Minutes
May 9, 2006
Present:  R. Caplan, A. Kalisky, G. Georges, P. Gallup, BJ Scheff
Guests:  M. Whitehead, E. Midgley, S. Rappaport
Minutes:  March 28, April 11 and April 25 were approved
Old Business:  
Sunyside Accessory Apartment:
Discussion on the Sunnyside accessory apartment presentation to the ZBA on May 16.  Caplan and Scheff are unable to attend but Georges and Rappaport will be there.
Georges will develop an estimate for the foundation, windows, lumber, cabinets etc.  
If these are under $25,000 each Midgeley will solicit three bids for each.

30 Sunnyside Lane Midgeley questioned the timeframe for installing the new windows on the main house at 30 Sunnyside.  He will measure them, get the quotes and report back to the Commission.  

Deaconess:  Whitehead brought us up to date on the Deaconess project. Under the inclusionary zoning bylaw they must provide 15% affordable housing units.  They are now discussion increasing the number of units to 160 units.  The Commission discussed the affordable units monthly fees, who will monitor the affordability, Deed restrictions, etc.  

Sunnyside Lane new construction: Scheff to contact Carl Carpenter
Re interest in bidding on the modular house on Sunnyside.  


New Business:  Master Plan for the town, the Commission needs to
look at their plan to make sure its current.
