Business:
Sunnyside Construction Update
Our appreciation goes to Tom DeNormandie, Craig Donaldson, John D. Robinson, and Gary and Susan Taylor for volunteering their time to perform the installation of mini-blinds in #26A and B.  The planned grounds work did not occur, as the construction was not far enough along.
The question of a patio or deck for 26A was discussed.  No final decision was made, but the possibility of having Minuteman students construct a deck using paving stones was discussed.  If we agree to this, the work can not be done until fall, after students return to school.
Ceramic tile will be installed in the kitchen of #30B.
Earl will lead a walk-through of the Sunnyside apartments next Thursday, May 15, at 8:00 AM for interested Commission members.
Sunnyside Lottery
It was decided that preference would be given to Lincoln residents or Lincoln connections for the lotteries of 26A and 30B.  The barrier free apartment (26B) would have no such preferences.
Sunnyside Pet Policy
Pets will be allowed in the apartments at the discretion of the Commission.  Pets will be restricted to a maximum of one dog or one cat per unit.  In addition, any dogs will be restricted to a maximum weight; this weight will be determined at our next meeting.
Deaconess Abundant Life Communities
George Georges had reviewed the Deaconess Local Initiative Program (LIP) application, and recommended we approve it as written.  The Commission approved. It will now be sent to the Selectmen for submission to DHCD.
Adjournment: Housing Commission adjourned at 9:05 AM.
