Meeting Minutes of August 11, 2009 at 3:15 pm.
Lincoln Town Hall, Selectmen’s Office
Present: Renel Fredriksen, Pam Gallup, Phyllis Mutschler, and Connie Lewis
Actions and Discussion:
1) The Commission reviewed the Town Administrator’s request that they delay advertising the property management RFP until October or November to allow him to have further discussions with some other communities regarding the regionalization of these services with other towns. Lewis moved and Gallup seconded to continue with the RFP process and to evaluate the effectiveness of that process as it moves along. Discussion reiterated the fact that the RFP includes language which allows the Town to reject all bids if it is determined it is in the Town’s best interest to do so. The motion was unanimously approved. Gallup moved and
Mutschler seconded to approve the draft RFP with edits, and to authorize Scheipers to process the RFP per those discussed edits which include making proposals due late September, in setting the bond limit at $25,000, and to make the interview an evaluation criteria for qualified proposers.
2) Connie Lewis moved that the meeting adjourn at 3:30 p.m. Pam Gallup seconded. The motion was approved unanimously.
