MINUTES LINCOLN PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE STUDY COMMITTEE Tuesday, 2/24, 3-5pm Hartwell School.
Present: Beth, Joanna, Karen, Mary, Peggy, Rob
1. Reviewed status of our Committee: Lincoln Board of Health approved a 2 year pilot of our Proposal. The Selects approved our proposal in concept but Selects and Finance Committee, particularly since there is no over-ride, oppose any new initiatives during this tight economy.
2. Committee Report at Town Meeting, 3/28/09. After discussion, we agreed on a 5-10 minute report from Joanna and Peggy on our Proposal and a very short summary of our research findings. If we find that our Committee Report is NOT included in the '08 Town Report, we will move that that be corrected. Additionally, we will submit a binder of our Committee's work to Town Archives, under Town Clerk Susan Brooks to insure that our work is available for future reference.
3. We disbanded our Committee, grateful for the dedication and fine work of the members. frustrated that we could not implement our proposal, and sad to break up our warm relationships.
