Present: Dan Pereira, John Dumont, Noah Eckhouse, Susie Collins, Jane Tatlock, Cathy Long, Ingrid Neri (minutes)
Minutes: The minutes of the January 23rd meeting were approved.
Finances: The YTD finances were reviewed. Enrollments continue to be steady with few cancellations of winter classes.
Brochures: The new brochure design was acknowledged and applauded. The Spring/Summer brochure is well under way as well as our Summer Camp brochure.
Tot Lot Playground: Susie and Noah updated us on CPA news. The Ridge Road project did not go through; therefore, things look optimistic for our Tot Lot playground. Susie will keep us informed.
Smith Playground: Dan is working with staff at the school to help decide the best choices for upgrading the Smith playground.
Pod Update: There has been no formal request or further communication from the schools to date regarding our possible Pod usage fee. Noah is keeping on top of this and will report any developments.
Programming: The committee reviewed and discussed the recommended program fees. The proposed fees were accepted by the committee except for the summer camp fees. Dan and staff will revisit these fees and a decision will be made via email by the committee.
Winter Carnival: Kudos to all!!!
Lincoln Kids Triathlon: The event will take place on July 1st this year.
Committee Changes:
It was announced that John Dumont is finishing off his term this March. We thank John for his incredible commitment and dedication to this committee. He has gone above and beyond as member and chair of this committee and he will be truly missed! We will continue to count on his expert advice in the future! Thanks so much John! Ted Julian will be running for John’s empty seat in the next election, unopposed.
Town Meeting will be on March 25th and we are encouraged to attend.
