Recreation Committee Minutes
December 17, 2007
Attendance: Dan Pereira, Susie Collins, Noah Eckhouse, Jane Tatlock, Ted Julian, Chris Fasciano, Jonathan Dwyer and Ingrid Neri (Minutes)
Minutes: The November Minutes will be approved at a future meeting.
Calendar: We reviewed the calendars as amended at the last meeting.
Programming Update:
· Celebrations: We discussed the July 4th theme for 2008. We will consider ideas at the next meeting and announce at the coffeehouse.
· Winter Carnival / Coffeehouse: A few ideas were made for the coffeehouse theme… Valentines Day / Sweetheart theme was a possibility. Ingrid will coordinate calling of individual performers who may need a personal invite. It was made clear that we need to emphasize an age limit this year.
Finances:
· Revolving Fund: We reviewed and discussed the Revolving Fund. Expenses were higher due to the athletic field work, the cost of AC installation, as well as the expense of resurfacing the playgrounds.
· General Fund: The General Fund Update was not available. Dan will send it out via email when ready.
Other Issues:
· Holiday Party: Upon completion of our meeting we bewgan our annual holiday party. Thank you to Noah and Catherine for hosting and creating a chocolaty delightful party!
