Minutes of the Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting on March 27, 2008
Meeting convened at 7:30 pm in the Lower Level Conference Room at Town Offices. Present: John Kimball, Chair, members Gus Browne, Steve Daigle, Anna Hardman, Joel Freedman, Jeff Macklin, Win Quayle, and Dorothy Blakeley, ZBA Clerk.
New Matters:
Patty and David Levy, 38 Tower Road, M/P 85 7 0, appeared with their architect, David Stuhsaltz of Royal Barry Wills Associates. The applicants have lived in this home for 13 years and have a 5 year old son. The current home has approximately 1,800 square feet of livable space. Mr. and Mrs. Levy would like to create more living space as well as a new 2 car garage with a new driveway. The scope of the design includes the creation of a new Living/Family room, laundry area, and mudroom on the first floor and a new bedroom and playroom on the second floor over the new garage. The new addition will extend to the rear of the property and its height will be slightly lower than the existing house. The addition will be done in clapboard style with a new curb cut and the existing stone wall
will be extended. The applicants will be going before the Planning Board for site plan review and the scenic road curb cut. Mr. and Mrs. Levy also have letters of support from their neighbors. Another neighbor, Ms. Rosamond Delori, 44 Tower Road, came to this meeting to show her support for this project. The Board voted unanimously to close the record. It was noted that while the addition to the house is large in scale, the design is sensitive to the neighborhood and fits well with the existing structure.
Action: Motion to approve this application unanimously approved. Panel includes John Kimball, Chair, members Gus Browne, Steve Daigle, Anna Hardman, Joel Freedman, Jeff Macklin, and Win Quayle. Joel Freedman is the Decision Writer.

Oliver Hayes, 261 Concord Road, renewal of existing accessory apartment approved unanimously for a 7 year term. Gus Browne is the Decision Writer.
Paul Marsh, 61 Bedford Road, renewal of existing accessory apartment approved unanimously for a 7 year term. Steve Daigle is the Decision Writer.
Luciano Mascari, 29 Deerhaven Road, renewal of existing accessory apartment approved unanimously for a 7 year term. Jeff Macklin is the Decision Writer.
